Privacy and security
This document explains how GertuGO processes personal data, what security measures are applied and which rights users can exercise.
1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through GertuGO is GertuGOAPP S.L., Tax ID B21663703, registered at KARKIZANO, CALLE DE 4, 20001 DONOSTIA-SAN SEBASTIAN, GIPUZKOA.

2. Data collected
GertuGO may process identification data, contact data, profile data, provider professional data and technical data related to the use of the platform.
- First name, last name, date of birth and profile photo.
- Email address and phone number.
- Approximate address, geolocation, bookings and ratings.
- Professional details and service information.
- IP address, device, operating system, logs and push token.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is used to create and manage accounts, publish listings and profiles, enable communication between users, operate reviews and notifications, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based, depending on the case, on the performance of the contractual relationship, user consent, legal obligations and legitimate interest in maintaining platform security and continuity.
5. Geolocation, chat and notifications
Geolocation is used to show nearby services when the user enables it. Chat and notifications are used to facilitate interaction between users and providers and to communicate relevant account activity.
GertuGO may retain technical logs or messages when necessary for security, fraud prevention, incident resolution or legal compliance.
6. Retention and disclosures
Data is retained while the account remains active, during applicable legal retention periods and, where appropriate, until deletion is requested.
Personal data is not sold. Data may be disclosed to technology providers, processors and public authorities when there is a legal obligation to do so.
7. User rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to contact@gertugo.app.
If they believe their rights have been violated, they may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
8. Security and changes
GertuGO applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, although no internet transmission is completely secure.
This policy may be updated when internal processes, technology providers or applicable legal obligations change.
